Meet LaDell Carter
LaDell Carter founded Royal Expression Travels in 2014, but her approach to travel began years earlier, designing journeys for her parents. She planned around their personalities and interests, creating experiences that became treasured family memories.
One journey through China and Japan took on particular significance. Later, while in hospice, her father spoke of wanting to take the next trip she had planned. His words stayed with her and helped shape the purpose of the company: to create journeys with meaning beyond the itinerary.
After becoming a widow and raising three children while caring for her eldest daughter, LaDell built a business that could accommodate her family’s needs. Royal Expression Travels grew from that determination and remains family owned and operated.
Today, LaDell serves as Founder and Lead Luxury Lifestyle Travel Designer. Royal Expression Travels caters to ultra-high-net-worth individuals through private bespoke journeys shaped by firsthand destination knowledge, global relationships and each client’s interests.
Her approach brings together personal attention, destination expertise and creative travel design. Rather than starting with a standard itinerary, the conversation begins with the traveler: what they value, what draws them to a destination and how they want to experience it.
A Johns Hopkins University graduate, LaDell brings a business perspective and a lifelong interest in exploration to her work. Her travel expertise has been cited by publications including Forbes, Vogue, National Geographic and Travel + Leisure.
