Myself and a few colleagues scouted it for our VIPs at Royal Expression Travels, and it left us enchanted. This isn’t just a weekend getaway; it’s a curated experience.

Every morning starts with inclusive yoga led by an expert who brings that perfect zen vibe, and it only gets better as you wander the orchards and chat with the local farm hands. The farm itself is alive, a mix of hand-tilled gardens, terrace orchards, and a working greenhouse that feeds not just the land but the spirit. Oh, and about four million honeybees! You’ll get a taste of their honey drizzled over pancakes at breakfast, an indulgence that feels like a pure Southern hug.

Arriving here feels like stepping into another world—the winding drive up is scenic enough to slow anyone down, but once you’re here, the heart of the farm beats all around you. The farmers are eager to share their stories, giving new meaning to every bite on your plate. And speaking of bites, let’s just say hilltop happy hour is worth the climb: live music, wood-fired pizzas, craft cocktails, and a view that makes you feel like you’re on top of the world.

For a more leisurely ride, we took electric bikes up the hill, catching our breath at the top for a view that’s equal parts peace and majesty. The spa? Pure heaven. The Art of Last-Minute Luxury: How We Navigated Ever-Changing Covid Rules for a VIP Traveler

There are travel stories that unfold in slow motion—lavish dinners under the stars, cocktails by the infinity pool—and then there are stories like this, where everything happens at lightning speed and it feels like the universe is testing your travel prowess.

Late 2022: The world is emerging from its Covid cocoon, and travel restrictions are fluctuating faster than a Bitcoin price chart. One of our VIP solo travelers—let’s call him Mr. X—is set for a dream trip to Egypt and Dubai. First-class ticket? Check. Pyramids at dawn and a champagne desert safari? Naturally.

But just as he’s gliding through security, Egypt throws a curveball and updates their entry rules. His pristinely curated Covid test results? Suddenly useless. New rules. No entry.

With 15 minutes until the gate closes, this is where we step in. If Egypt says no, Dubai says yes. We reissue his ticket, and he boards with seconds to spare. While Mr. X sips champagne in first class, we work through the night, ensuring his onward flight to Egypt is seamless.

By the time he lands in Dubai, our ground ambassadors greet him with a cool towel, Dom Pérignon, and new entry documents. Whisked away to a private lounge, refreshed and ready, he boards his Egypt-bound flight without lifting a finger.
